Great news! Dr. John Allen (CaRE@UF REC Leader), has been awarded a 5-year R01 grant in the amount of $2,553,544 from the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Minority Health and Disparities. With his team, they will conduct a study focused on Examining the determinants and consequences of supportive care medication use disparities in patients with pancreatic cancer: A sequential mixed-methods approach. CaRE2 investigators include Dr. Kiros (CaRE2@FAMU), and Drs. Rogers, Scarton, and Wilkie (CaRE2@UF), as well as Dr. Guo from the UFHCC. Please join us in celebrating this wonderful success and supporting Dr. Allen as he leads his first R01 study. Dr. Allen is another CaRE2 ESI/NI who joins the funded R01 club!
