CaRE2 Monthly Webinar – Breast Cancer Awareness

In celebration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month CaRE2 had one of our very own CaRE2 members present on “Adaptation and implementation of an hereditary breast cancer promotores-led outreach and education program during the Covid19 lockdown” on Wednesday, October 26, 11AM PST/2PM EST.

Dr. Fejerman is a professor with the Department of Public Health Sciences and co-director of the Women’s Cancer Care Program at UC-Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center. Her research focuses on the discovery and understanding of genetic and environmental factors that contribute to breast cancer risk and survival and that could be used as targets for prevention and therapy. Specifically, her lab investigates factors contributing to breast cancer incidence and survival in women who self-identify as Hispanic/Latina in the US and Latin American women.
