CaRE2 held their monthly webinar on February 23, 2022 featuring Dr. Chanita Hughes-Halbert speaking on Translational Behavioral Science Research in Cancer Health Equity. Dr. Hughes-Halbert serves as the Associate Director for Cancer Equity at the University of Southern California. She is a nationally recognized leader in cancer prevention and minority health research and has dedicated her career to reducing the disparities in cancer outcomes in underrepresented communities, primarily focusing on African Americans. Our webinar was in celebration of Black History, Black Women in History, and National Cancer Prevention Month.
