We are proud to announce that Dr Jamel Ali, a CaRE2 Early Stage Investigator (ESI) has been awarded an Air Force Young Investigator Research program award for his proposal, “Self-Assembled Swimmers for Nanoscale Actuation and Sensing” from the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR). This marks the first time ever such an award has been presented to a Historically Black Collage and University! It is a tremendous achievement and we are delighted to see Dr Ali advance in his career.
